Our Team

Erica is ultimately responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of ASC. Erica has been with ASC since 2018.

Nicole is in charge of our Zilker overnight camp program, seasonal staff hiring, as well as our first time camper year-round program. Nicole started with ASC in 2021.

Michelle works with community members interested in renting the Zilker Lodge for their next event. Michelle handles all inquiries from prospective renters, as well as all sales of the rental program. Michelle has been with ASC since 2018.

Beccers is in charge of our Lake Travis overnight camp program. Beccers started with ASC in 2021.

Kendall leads the planning and execution of Austin Sunshine Camps’ development events and supports meaningful experiences for donors, partners, and the broader community. Through thoughtful logistics, strong relationships, and a commitment to mission-aligned hospitality, Kendall helps ensure ASC events run smoothly and reflect the heart of the organization. Kendall joined ASC in 2025.

Ashley leads donor communications, fundraising campaigns, and storytelling efforts that help bring the mission of Austin Sunshine Camps to life. Through clear, compelling messaging and collaboration across the organization, Ashley deepens engagement with donors, partners, and the broader community. Ashley joined ASC in 2025.

Amy oversees ASC’s Corporate Sponsorship and Volunteer Programs and is responsible for generating revenue through corporate grants, event sponsorships, and employee giving.  Amy joined the ASC team in 2024.

David  leads all of ASC’s fundraising efforts including major gifts, grants, corporate sponsorships, special events, and annual giving. David joined the ASC team in 2024.

Felipe ensures that all of ASC’s facilities are functioning, licensed, and inspected. Felipe also oversees ASC’s capital investment projects. Felipe joined the team in 2021.

Debbi is in charge of managing ASC’s finance, technology, and human resources departments, working with outsourced vendors to ensure our backend processes are efficient and productive. Debbi came to ASC in 2023.

Zak oversees all of ASC’s summer and year-round programming, ultimately ensuring that we meet the highest standards for our campers and staff. Zak has been a part of the ASC team since 2023.

Cora  works with our corporate, community, and YMBL volunteers to ensure they have a great experience volunteering with ASC.  Cora joined the ASC team in 2024.

Sam supports the recruitment, onboarding, and care of both full-time and seasonal staff at Austin Sunshine Camps, helping build strong teams and a values-driven workplace culture. Sam is passionate about supporting people and creating systems that allow staff to feel connected, supported, and empowered. Sam joined ASC in 2026.
