Volunteer Opportunity: Camp Bracelets & Cards

Make a special impact for Summer Camp 2025 with these at-home projects that are open to anyone! See below for more details.
- Bead Bracelets with ASC Values – Throughout the summer, our staff and campers will trade these bracelets with one another as a way to celebrate seeing the ASC values in one another! Each bracelet must say the word “action,” “authenticity,” “compassion,” “growth,” “connection,” “exploration,” “fun,” or “grit.” We need 500+ bracelets for the summer, we’ll take however many you can make.
- Welcome to Camp Cards – When campers arrive on the first day of camp they are greeted with a quilt and welcome to camp card! Your cards will be a special message of love to the campers who receive them. They can be signed “from an ASC Volunteer.” We need 500+ cards for the summer, we’ll take whatever you can make.
- Counselor Cards – Our counselors have a big job caring for campers all summer long! Share some words of support to encourage them when they get tired a few weeks in. Be creative!
Coordinate a drop off time at Zilker Lodge with Cora (cora@sunshinecamps.org). We’re looking for a first round of bracelets and cards by May 16th and a second round by July 2nd, but we’ll accept them year-round.
