I would like to be a pediatrician when i grow up
because i just love kids. I have been around kids all my life and now my next step is to care for them like help them so they could be safe and healthy. To do that i have to go to a training school like M.O and other places. Theres alot of places were i could get closer or more knowledge on how to get better and learn some things so when i grow up i would have some knowledge and i wount be so lost.

Over the summer I would like to intern with someone in the medical field. Specifically someone who is a sergion or a nurse. This intership interests me because I would like to explore the world of medicine and see if I have the guts to deal with every situation and help people at the same time. One of the reasons to why I want to become a pediatric surgion is because I love kids and babies, they always seem to surprise me every time when they start to grab your finger with their little hands. Almost as if saying ” I can feel your love and protection”. Also I first became interested in medicine was because of Grey’s Anatomy and all of the intense drama and miracles someone can do.

If i could have an internship this summer, i would like to do nursing or something with veterinarians. I would want to do this because i like to help people and i love animals. One of these would be the best job for me, a dream job. I know i would do a lot of good in the world if i grew up to have one of these jobs.

Where would you intern this summer?

If i were given a Chance to intern at just about any where i want it would probably at a police station with a homicide detective, and the reason for that would be because I have “investigation fascination” I think that the the jobs around criminal justice are interesting. As an intern I would want to do something along the lines of a ride along so i can get an idea of what they actually do on a daily basis.

I think i would like to work in journalism,because I like to read and write. Mostly writing because I sort of get to express myself,I guess. And it lets people get to know me a little bit more.I dont know who I would like to ask about what or how to do it? I dont really know any writers or anything but if I were to meet any,I think it would be cool. I would want to become a journalist,like when I get to know more about it.I would want to write about people or about there lifes on what they do. Because I think it would be nice to learn about someone else,instead of myself. It would kind of put me in that persons shoes for a little while.

I am thankful for Sunshine Camp. Before I started camp i was headed down the wrong path and slowly becomong lazy with school. Leadership showed me that it’s ok to be myself and asking qustions does not make me look stupid.

I am very thankful for my friends because without them I would probably be a lonely dove in a sea of swans. And I am also very thankful for my parents because ever since the day I was born I never wanted for anything. And I am also very thankful for my grandpa because he is the only grandfather that I have ever had in my life and he really cares about me. He has made sure that all of my wants are taken care of and that I am happy and content.

I am thankful for sports to play to help me want to pass all my classes each grading period.I am thankful for my home bacause some people don’t have a place to stay.I am thankful for my family because some people don’t have one.I am thankful for my friends that I have today.I am thankful for my whole life and what can happen later in it.

How will you contribute to the Sunrise Leadership Program?

Coming to sunshine camp I plan to receive resources that will help me succeed in life. In the sunrise leadership program there are many opportunities that can help me develop myself into a better-rounded human being. I attend all the leadership functions, so that I can further my friendships with my fellow peers that are in the program.

I can contribute to the Sunrise Leadership program by providing a happy spirit in the atmosphere. I can also be a wonderful person to come and talk to if you need assistance with any complications that arise from any background.

Tell us about your goals this year

This year my goal is to do 95% better in school than I did last year, which means A`s and B`s. I plan to do that by turning in all my work, studying hard. And one place that already helped me in doing so is tutoring at camp. Camp has made doing homework a lot easier for me. When ever my teacher said that there were 5 people failing I use to be one of those people who are like dang I know I’m one of those people. Now, because of camp, when my teacher says there a 5 people failing I’m one of those people who say, I know I’m not one of them. And a big part of that is the encouragement that’s received.
